Common questions
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No. Vespera has no accounts and makes no network requests. Everything works offline, including in airplane mode.
Where is my data stored?
On your device, and only there. Progress, practice history, shift results, notes, and settings never leave your iPhone or iPad. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I erase my data?
In the app: Settings → Delete local data. Deletion is immediate and permanent. Deleting the app also removes everything.
Is Vespera a certification?
No. Vespera is training, not legal certification. It does not replace certifications your jurisdiction requires, and venue policy and local law always come first. The app never judges whether a real person is intoxicated or safe to drive.
What does "Awaiting professional review" on content mean?
Vespera labels the editorial status of every lesson, recipe, and scenario honestly. Version 1's training content was written by the Vespera team and is undergoing external professional review; content that review changes will be updated in a future version.
Troubleshooting
- The app won't open or misbehaves: close it fully (swipe up from the app switcher) and reopen. If that doesn't help, restart your device.
- After an iOS update something looks wrong: make sure you're on the latest Vespera version in the App Store, then restart the app.
- A shift, lesson, or score looks incorrect: we want to know — email us what you saw and roughly when.
- Reinstalling: deleting the app deletes its local data (there is no cloud copy), so note anything you want to keep first.
